Mr. Antonio Villagrasa returned to Puerto Rico from San Francisco, where he had a restaurant, looking to start a new buisness. His desire was to create a restaurant like those found in the big cities of New York or San Francisco.
We were involved from the very beginning, helping the owner to select a site, plan and design the building and supervise the construction. Considering to the budget it was decided to use the existing building and add the necessary area required for the restaurant.
The new design introduced an arched motif reminiscient of the spanish colonial architectural heritage appropriate considering the spanish international cuisine of the restaurant.
The main dining room boasts of a very high ceiling bathed in natural light during the day. The front elevation changed from the existing box-like appearance and welcomes now with the arches similar to those at the main dining room.
After finishing the separate activity room and the second floor facilities we are now remodeling the restrooms and designing an elevator.
